About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are met. You’ll lead and motivate a team of operators, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain a strong culture of accountability and teamwork.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and coordinate day shift warehouse operations
- Ensure all health & safety policies are followed and promote a safe workplace
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Manage workflow, allocate resources, and monitor productivity
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency and service
- Forklift licence (OSH & F endorsement preferred)
- Experience in steel, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
- Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and load restraint procedures
- Understanding of health & safety compliance in an industrial environment
- Experience with stock control, inventory management, and dispatch processes
- Class 2 driver’s licence (advantageous)
