TRAINEE WINDOW & DOOR INSTALLER –
Dunedin Based.Kick-start a hands-on career in the building industry? We’re on the lookout for a motivated and reliable Trainee Window & Door Installer to join our friendly and experienced team at Aitken Joinery Otago.
About the Role:
As a trainee, you’ll work alongside experienced installers to learn the ropes of aluminium window and door installation. You’ll gain valuable on-the-job training and be part of a team that takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent service.
What You'll Be Doing:- Assisting with the installation of aluminum windows and doors
- Learning to read and interpret plans and measurements
- Gaining knowledge of construction and installation best practices
- Helping to prepare, load, and transport products to site
- Maintaining tools, vehicles, and work areas
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- A keen interest in the trades and building industry
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry materials
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A current driver’s license
- Reliability and pride in your work
