We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead Abseil / Rope Access Technician to join our team in Tauranga. A small but mighty team of two, with the full support of our Auckland branch behind you, this role will see you leading and providing asset maintenance and cleaning services.If you are passionate about working at heights and ensuring safety, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Your Role
As the Lead Abseil / Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch asset maintenance and cleaning services both at ground level and height. You will use specified work products and adhere to strict safety standards and job requirements.While your primary location will be Tauranga, this role may involve travel to service clients across New Zealand, including regions such as Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Whanganui, Marlborough and Auckland.
What We’re Looking For- Qualifications: Current abseil/rope access qualification (IRATA, SPRAT, NZQA, or other internationally recognised certifications).
- Experience: Expertise in cleaning services (building wash, water blasting, window cleaning) and/or maintenance services (commercial roofing & waterproofing, concrete injection, repairs, joint sealant application, window rubbers and seals).
- Licenses: Valid Driver License or an International Driving Permit.
- Work Rights: Valid working rights in New Zealand.
- Leadership experience
- Heavy Vehicle License: Class 2 Driver License.
- Safety Certifications: Site Safe, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Current First Aid Certificate.
