We’re excited to offer a new Sales Support position at our Pinepac wholesale office in Whenuapai. This is a varied role with plenty of opportunities for growth, on-the-job training, and company-sponsored certificates. Pinepac is a proud, family-owned business, producing timber and roundwood for New Zealand and international markets for over 80 years.

About the Role:
As Sales Support, you’ll play a vital part in our sales and logistics operations. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service, support sales activities, and help manage delivery logistics. You’ll also get involved in the yard, marking up orders and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are more important than expertise—we’ll provide all the training you need. While you’ll be based in Whenuapai, you may occasionally cover at our Roundwood site in Kumeu.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent service
  • Drive sales over the phone and develop customer communications
  • Process quotes, sales orders, and invoices efficiently
  • Schedule deliveries for maximum efficiency and timely service
  • Mark and load orders, and communicate effectively with sales and yard teams
Who We’re Looking For:
  • A positive, hardworking team player
  • A relationship-builder with top-notch customer service skills
  • Someone with marketing flair and strong written/verbal communication
  • Detail-oriented and a natural problem solver
  • Holder of a full driver’s licence
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Experience in the building industry and knowledge of timber/roundwood products is a plus but not essential
  • Previous sales experience or qualifications in sales, business studies, or marketing are advantageous
