- What you'll do The System Accountability and Settings team is responsible for advising on system level policy issues.
In this role you will work as part of a team to contribute to high-impact, cross cutting policy work focused on improving the way the health system operates to achieve better health outcomes for people and their families.
This includes: Providing advice on health system settings and whether they continue to deliver Government priorities and their statutory functions.
This includes legislation and other conventional instruments.Influencing and advising on Government priorities for the health system.Supporting policy work to develop the next Government Policy Statement for Health and key priorities for the health system.Working across agencies like the Treasury, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Public Service Commission to align health with wider system goals.At an analyst level, this is your chance to join a high performing group and learn off some of the best.
You will be given the opportunity to shadow senior and principal analysts and lead pieces of policy work.
