We also provide an extensive range of welding-related services. Currently we are looking for 03 Experienced Welders / Fabricators to join our team for the business growth.
Experienced Welder / Fabricator – Job Description- studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements
- cutting marked-out metal sections & shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches & metal cutting machines
- aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
- joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting, and riveting
- cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling, and grinding
- work at workshop and on-site
- Have at least 2 year experience as Welder / Fabricator
- Have experience with site installation work and workshop pre-fabrication
- Confidence with MIG and ARC
- Read and understanding construction drawings
- Work without supervision
- Has a valid driver license
- Has a valid site safe (preferred but not necessary)
- Willing to work overtime and weekend work as required
The position is full-time and permanent. For the right applicants, we offer a pay between $27-$32 per hour; minimum 30 hours per week. Our workshop is based in Patumahoe, Franklin but we need to travel to the site for installation (mostly in Auckland region).
