Support Worker - Wellington

We are currently looking for empathetic and passionate Support Worker with level 3 or higher Health and Wellbeing qualification to work with our clients in Wellington Region. This role is permanent, full-time with minimum 30hrs per week rostered shifts.This role requires you to be available Monday to Friday and alternate weekends (7.30am to 5pm).
What does a Support Worker do?
As part of a wider team, you will assist our clients to live as independently as possible, within their homes and community. You will help our clients to achieve their goals and reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support.
Responsibilities can be varied, and you will follow a care plan, which may include some or all the below:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Giving medication
- Personal cares (showering, toileting, bowel management stage 3, manual handling, hoist transfers etc)
- Home management

What are we looking for?- A great attitude - a desire to help and support others, achieving excellence in all you do
- Minimum 6 months healthcare or care-giving experience is required and level 3 or above in health and wellbeing is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Healthcare qualifications are required
- A full NZ driver's licence
