Westown Group is a Family owned and operated Buisness in New Plymouth, specialising in Agricultural Contracting, Livestock and Bulk Cartage. We own a large fleet of Trucks and Tractors.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanic/Serviceman to join our team, who takes pride in their work.

The candidate will be responsible for mechanical requirements both in the workshop and out in the field. The work will be varied and the applicant must be flexible when urgent work arrives.

Your responsibilites would include, but not limited to:

servicing, mechanical repairs and maintenance of Ag machinery and company fleet vehicles
fault finding and diagnostics
inspecting and record keeping

The applicant must be a motivated self-starter, physically capable with a positive attitude. Must be able to work in a team aswell as independently, unsupervised. Must have the ability to work to deadlines and have preparedness to work overtime to meet these.

We require someone with previous experience, atleast 2 years. Applicant needs to be available for some weekend work when required and also call-outs.

A full drivers license is required.

The successful applicant will be provided with a service vehicle.
