About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join the CT department fulltime. You will be part of a team that works within a busy, collaborative and vibrant department, engaging with colleagues both within the department and across the.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing CT team, at a leading tertiary trauma hospital.As a key member, in our fast-paced environment you will work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with experienced professionals, providing critical imaging services that directly affect patient outcomes, in trauma, emergency and acute care.You will have access to a wide range of procedures and cases that will continuously sharpen your skills, as well as contribute to your growth and learning.
In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of quality imaging, efficiently manage daily workflow and ensure the highest standards of safety for both staff and patients throughout all procedures.Rostering includes shift work that supports a healthy work-life balance and allows for personal time or other commitments.The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the APEX Medical Imaging Technologist Collective Agreement.Additional benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances, professional development and wellness support.Click here to view the position description. About the Team/ServiceOur dynamic CT team consist of 20 part-time and full time MITs, 5 nurses and 3 clinical assistants who all play a significant role to keep the department running at full capacity, operating 3 CT scanners.As a team we are focused on creating a positive culture and great work environment for all our staff About youHave full registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologist Board with a general scope of practice and a current practising certificateHave good communication skillsHave excellent interpersonal and team skillsBe committed to improving service performanceAs a team member you will work primarily in the CT Department.
