Parts Person

We are a family run business based in Palmerston North that has been importing, assembling, and servicing Strautmann agricultural machinery from Germany for over 40 years to the New Zealand agricultural sector. We are the National Distribution Centre for Strautmann Parts for New Zealand.

The Opportunity

Strautmann Hopkins Limited has a position available at our Palmerston North base for a Parts Person who has some experience or would like to gain experience in this field.

• To source and supply parts to our service technicians, agents, and customers
• Accurately identify parts using the electronic databases
• Process orders, invoices and returns efficiently
• Stock take inventory regularly
• Process parts as they arrive into New Zealand

• An understanding of the agriculture sector
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Sound computer skills and understanding of electronic parts catalogues
• Able to build robust relationships with customers and suppliers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great at trouble shooting and providing solutions
• Someone who goes the extra mile if required
