Our client is headquartered in Auckland and operates across several international markets. Known for its advanced trading technology and commitment to client service, the company enables users to access a wide range of investment options and continues to expand globally.

Reporting to the CFO and CCO, you'll play a central role in the finance function—overseeing core accounting processes, managing group month-end reporting, and supporting financial oversight for international operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Recognising and reconciling monthly trading revenue
• Monitoring cash flow and client money accounts
• Managing accounting for overseas subsidiaries
• Completing and finalising monthly group results
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting
• Assisting in implementing a new general ledger system
• Mentoring and supporting offshore finance teams
• Supporting year-end audits and ad hoc projects

Requirements:

• CA qualified (or equivalent) with 4+ years post-qualification experience
• Financial services experience advantageous but not essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Self-driven, flexible, and proactive
• Proficiency in Excel
• Power BI knowledge a plus but not essential
