About the Role
The Radiology Team at North Shore Hospital have a vacancy for a Medical Imaging Technologist in General X-ray. This role involves undertaking various radiological procedures and looking after patients' comfort and welfare. You will be part of a busy service that will offer you varied and interesting work in a department that is equipped with DR X-ray rooms, Ultrasound, CT, with a dedicated PACS team.

About Us
Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata provides health services to approximately 500,000 residents in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any health district.
North Shore Hospital is accessed by Shakespeare Road in Takapuna and is situated on the shores of Lake Pupuke. The ward tower block overlooks the Rangitoto Channel and the majestic Rangitoto Island on one side, and the Waitemata Harbour with views extending towards Auckland City on the other.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Imaging or equivalentRegistration with the NZ Medical Radiation Technologists Board and a current APC
A culturally sensitive approach and a professional attitude
The ability to work both autonomously and within a team
Additionally, having previous experience working as an MIT in a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications System) environment would be beneficial.
