The CompanyOur client is one of New Zealand's leading postage and courier companies, providing trusted services to both the public and businesses nationwide. They're now looking for motivated Freight Sorters to join their successful Wanganui team during a busy period.
The Role
As a Freight Sorter, you'll play a key part in ensuring parcels are sorted accurately and dispatched on time. Working alongside a supportive, close-knit team, you'll help keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced freight environment.
Your main tasks will include:- Sorting and scanning parcels for courier delivery
- Matching parcels to the correct courier bins and delivery areas
- Preparing bins for rural and regional routes
- Ensuring freight moves efficiently and safely through the depot
- This is a hands-on, physical role that involves repetitive lifting (up to 20kgs) and walking throughout your shift - perfect for someone who enjoys staying active at work.
Hours & Pay
Shift options: 3:00am - 6:00am & 3:00pm - 6:00pm- Flexibility required around peak times (may extend to 8:00am/8:00pm)
- Weekly pay every Friday
