About the Role: OneStaff Tauranga is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the commercial window and door industry, seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality commercial projects.

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and manage project plans, ensuring milestones are defined and achievable. Use OnePlan software to track timelines, resources, and progress, working closely with clients to refine schedules.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Oversee project budgets, manage cost control, and identify areas for cost savings. Handle contract variations and negotiate with suppliers to optimize financial outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Communication: Lead project teams, ensuring tasks are delegated and completed efficiently. Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining health and safety standards.
  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and client specifications. Oversee inspections and ensure quality is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally with commercial window and door or construction projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management
  • Full Driver’s License (required for site visits and project duties)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
