Paeroa - Class 5 Bulk Truck Driver and Livestock Driver

Wykes Trucking Ltd are a Family Owned and Operated Waikato Based Transport Company.

We are wanting to fill x2 operators positions as follows -

• Carting Fert, Aggregates, Aglime etc throughout the Waikato. Monday -Saturday work with the odd night away. Must have bulk tipping experience.

• DAF CF85 - This unit is contracted to Te Akau Transport and works throughout the Waikato This role requires an experienced class 5 driver with excellent stockmanship across all types of livestock. Livestock experience is essential . Must be a fantastic communicator and able to follow direction well. Able to keep truck clean and tidy inside and out. Sunday - Friday work with an average of 3 nights away.

The successful candidate will have their class 5 licence, experience and knowledge. In return, we offer competitive remuneration ($30 - $39 per hour) and a great team environment.

We cater to the North Island and are based from the Waikato. We want someone who is reliable, honest and takes pride in their gear.

• Hold a clean class 5 License
• Experience in Livestock Transport is essential
• Experienced Bulk Tipping experience essential.
• Able to handle & transport livestock safely and responsibly.
• Be compliant with logbook, H&S, and animal welfare regulations.
• Respect for equipment
• Keep truck/trailer clean and tidy
• including inside cab
• Great Communication skills
• Good customer services skills
• The ability to stay away overnight when required
• The ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test
• Ability to work as a team & multitask
• NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
