Join our dedicated and hard-working Environmental Services Department and helpmaintain our facilities, while providing a suitable environment forour tūroro (patients) and whānau (families).You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays anessential part of maintaining Burwood Hospital.
The team provides exceptionalcleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.You will be responsible for:Completing all cleaning tasks to international healthcare standardsEnsuring daily schedules and tasks are completed within set timeframesOperating and maintaining equipment safely around patients and whānauHandling cleaning solutions in accordance with safety protocolsSalary
- Starting from $27.80 per hour.
Based on theEtū Multi-Employer Collective Agreement.Shift timesThursday 8 hours start 6.30am to 3pmFriday 8 hours start 6.30am to 3pmSaturday 5 Hours starts 7am to 12pmSunday 5 Hours starts 7am to 12pmAbout YouWe are looking for a reliable, hardworking and flexiblecandidate who is able to bring their passion for cleaning to our Burwoodfacility.
This role will suit a candidate that is looking to help make theHospital and hygienic and safe space for our patients and whanau.Full training will be provided to all new staff joining ourteam.Skills and ExperienceExcellent communication skills, customer service and time management skillsHigh level of patient confidentialityAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedAccuracy and attention to detailExperience as a cleaner, particularly within health, is preferred but not essential.
