About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team player to join our busy Stainless and Aluminium warehouse in a role that combines operational work with customer service support. If you enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy, and like being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect fit.
What you’ll do:
- Serve customers at the front counter and provide product assistance
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
- Maintain inventory accuracy through stocktakes and cycle counts
- Operate forklifts (training provided if needed)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (40 hrs/wk).
- Customer service experience, ideally within the metals, manufacturing, or industrial sector
- Proven experience in warehousing, dispatch, or inventory control
- Full Class 1 driver licence (required)
- Forklift licence or F endorsement (advantageous)
- Strong computer skills, including ERP systems, Outlook, and Excel
- Physically fit, accurate, and reliable with good attention to detail
