Concrete Formworker - ref. f34866503

Pay: $35-$40p/hr

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Formwork. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in concrete formwork and carpentry, with a solid understanding of construction drawings and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and install wood and metal forms for concrete structures including stairs, walls, foundations, and slabs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Set forms to the correct elevation and ensure proper alignment and support.
• Place and secure formwork components using nails, screws, and ties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with foremen and other trades on-site.

Requirements:

• Experience forming concrete stairs is an asset.
• Steel tying, boxing and finishing experience is essential.
• Ability to read construction drawings and use measuring tools accurately.
• Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, and formwork systems.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
