School Travel Coordinator

We are seeking professional candidates with strong administration skills to take on a busy role in Auckland Central!

Our role:

• ASAP for 5 Months
• $35 per hour
• Assisting a busy growing sales team

What we are looking for:

• Meeting with school senior management to promote the Travelwise and/ or Walking School Bus programmes
• Working with teachers to develop Safe School Travel plans for their schools
• Supporting the planning and delivery of activities to promote active travel and road safety in schools including pedestrian, cycle and scooter safety programmes
• Engaging parents/adult volunteers to develop, maintain and promote the Walking School Bus programme

About you:

• Full & current NZ driver’s licence with no major endorsements
• A qualification in a relevant discipline such as Education, Community Engagement, Event Management, Psychology, Communication.
• At least two years’ experiences in a related area, projects, or events
• Engaged communities for behaviour change
• Worked in a school or community environment
• Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to develop strong working relationships both internal and external
• Ability to plan, implement and evaluate behaviour change programmes
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Report writing skills
