The Senior Education Advisor, Early Learning take a lead role in the licensing and certification of early childhood education (ECE) services and early learning participation initiatives.

This requires excellent relationship management skills and an in
  • depth knowledge of the early learning education sector.

As a member of our region's Early Childhood Education team, the successful candidate will join a supportive and performance-driven team environment.

Salary range: $85,225

  • $103,071 per annum + 3% KiwiSaver.

The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

About you | Mōhou ake If you can evidence your experience across the following areas, we would like to hear from you: In-depth practitioner knowledge of early Childhood Education, licencing criteria and regulations Proficiency in Te reo Māori me ona tikanga is an advantage The ability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenuatanga Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively across a diverse range of settings A solutions and values-based approach The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
