HD Distribution is a growing 3PL warehouse business looking for an experienced and reliable Warehouse Operator to join our team.
This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and can think on their feet. We’re looking for someone who naturally keeps things moving, stays organised, and takes pride in getting things done.
You’ll be joining a small, efficient team where no two days are the same.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: Picking and packing customer orders accurately using barcode scanning systems
Receiving, checking and processing incoming stockUsing handheld scanners to receive, track and manage stock
Putting stock away correctly and maintaining warehouse organisation
Labelling and preparing freight
Assisting customers collecting orders and handling enquiries directly
General warehouse support and housekeeping
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Previous warehouse experience is important
Experience with inwards goods and stock handlingComfortable dealing directly with customers
Experience using barcode scanning or warehouse systems an advantage
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Physically fit and comfortable lifting cartons
Reliable and punctual
Someone who thinks ahead, takes initiative and works with urgency
Comfortable working in a fast-tempo, highly efficient environment
Forklift licence a must
