Approximately 6000 pēpi are born here per year.The Womens Assessment Unit kaimahi do about 250 assessment each week and incorporates the Day Assessment Unit, the acute gynaecology and early pregnancy services, along with a dedicated bereavement area.We are looking for two midwives to work together across these acute services with an individual portfolio responsibility for one of these areas.As the Midwife Manager, you would be responsible for the day

-to-day running of each unit, working collaboratively with the medical and multidisciplinary teams.
The position includes staff management, resource allocation, clinical guidance and maintaining standards of practice.
