About this role:
An exciting new opportunity for a role in our Business Intelligence and Analytics Team has come about and we are excited to offer you the chance to be part of not only this great team working across our district, but also a great organisation.This critical role will be responsible for organisational insights, analytics and visualisations. Your work will help drive data drive decisions that impact the lives of more than 85,000 people.
What I do?- You will extract and wrangle data from diverse systems.
- You will transform, analyse and prepare data to help users understand the problems and solutions.
- You will load and engineer data in efficient and sustainable data stores.
- You will analyse and drive insights for our customers.
- You will present information in intuitive and innovative solutions so our customers have clear insights to action.
- Formal training in BI Development tools and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in BI development with expertise in TechOne Analytics, Azure BI products, Agile Azure DevOps, and Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, data management, analysis, and complex query writing.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, visualization, ETL, and data modeling.
- Experience in data science, extensive data analysis, and handling large data sets.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team to achieve joint objectives.
