Scaffolding Labourer/Spanner Hand

We are a locally owned and operated scaffolding business based in Invercargill, providing reliable and safe access solutions to a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial clients across Southland and surrounding areas. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer/Spanner Hand to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Labourer/Spanner Hand, you’ll assist our scaffolders with the assembly, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding. This is a physically demanding role that requires a good level of fitness and a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the loading and unloading of scaffolding equipment
• Support scaffolders with erecting, adjusting and dismantling scaffolds
• Follow site safety procedures and our company health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a tidy and safe work area
• Communicate effectively with the team

Requirements:

• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethic
• Previous experience in scaffolding or construction is ideal, however we will consider keen and eager candidates who want to get started in a career.
• Full drivers licence would be a massive advantage but not essential
