Aquatic Retail Assistant - Permanent Full Time

Hollywood Fish Farm - New Zealand's largest Aquarium Specialist are looking for a full time staff member to join their Mt Roskill team

Position is permanent full time 40 hours per week and requires person to work a combination of week days and one weekend day.

• Ability to work well in a team and also be self motivated
• A constant desire for improvement
• Responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness
• Must be physically fit as some heavy lifting is involved
• Good organisational skills
• A can do/will do attitude
• Previous retail experience would be a bonus

The successful candidate must have permanent residency (i.e. no working visas) and have an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.

Full and Ongoing Product Training Provided

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Customer Service including answering incoming calls and serving customers.
• Assisting customers with new tank/reptile setups and educating them on ongoing care
• Cleaning & Maintenance of Aquariums
• General Shop Duties (vacuuming, dusting etc)
• General Care of Livestock (feeding, completing fish health checks administering medications etc)
• Inwards stock receipting
