About the Role
We are looking for a Psychologist with a clinical scope of practice for Te Whetu Tawera acute mental health unit at Auckland City Hospital. The candidate would join the multidisciplinary teams in offering assessment, formulation and brief psychological intervention to tangata whaiora in hospital who are acutely unwell
About the Team/Service/ Location
Te Whetu Tawera is Te Toka Tumai Aucklands Acute Mental Health Unit for Adults. It has 58 beds, which includes 12 Intensive Care Unit beds. The unit is located alongside the Auckland Domain with views of Auckland Harbour. It is unique in that it is very flexible in function with spaces and rooms able to be reconfigured and used according to patients' needs.

About you
If you are midlevel Clinical Psychologist who has an interest in mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, CBT, ACT etc Has experience working in an inpatient unit including group work and an interest in ensuring high quality, safe and equitable services we invite you to apply to join our team.
- You will have a Post graduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or its recognised equivalent) and registration with the NZ Psychologists Board with a Clinical Scope of practice
- You with have a Current Annual Practicing Certificate
- You will have a commitment to biculturalism, a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori
