Hotel Lake Brunner is a boutique hotel located in the peaceful township of Moana on the West Coast of New Zealand. Surrounded by native bush and overlooking Lake Brunner, we offer genuine Kiwi hospitality to both domestic and international guests.

We are currently seeking a full-time Customer Service & Reservations Manager to join our close-knit team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in front-of-house operations, reservations, and online guest services.

  • The Role
As our Customer Service & Reservations Manager, you’ll take the lead in managing our guest booking process, online presence, and overall customer service delivery. You’ll support both direct guest bookings and relationships with international and wholesale travel partners.

You'll also help ensure our presence on review and booking platforms reflects our high standards of service.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage guest reservations and booking systems (direct and online)
  • Oversee and deliver high standards of customer service throughout the guest journey
  • Maintain relationships with inbound and wholesale travel agents
  • Respond to guest enquiries, reviews, and feedback on platforms like TripAdvisor and Booking.com
  • Support and train front-line team members to ensure consistency in service delivery
  • Collaborate with management to implement seasonal promotions and monitor room availability

  • Experience in hotel or tourism customer service and/or reservations
  • Familiarity with online booking systems and basic digital tools

  • Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in customer service or hospitality reservations
OR
  • A relevant qualification in hospitality, tourism, or business, plus 1–2 years’ experience
  • Experience with international/wholesale travel clients is a plus
  • Pay & Conditions
  • Pay rate: $32.00 – $36.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (rostered, including weekends and evenings)
  • Location: Moana, West Coast – staff accommodation may be available
  • Uniform and meals during shift included
