About the Role
This is a hands-on role based in our Outside Garden Centre, where you'll work with a wide range of plants, products, and customers. Your horticultural knowledge will be key in helping customers choose the right plants and care solutions for their gardens.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert advice on plants, plant care, and gardening solutions
- Sharing your horticultural knowledge to help customers succeed in their gardens
- Maintaining plant health, quality, and presentation
- Watering, pruning, and general plant care
- Merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation
- Delivering friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Working safely and efficiently in an outdoor retail environment
- A genuine passion for plants and gardening
- Experience in a garden centre, nursery, or horticulture role (preferred)
- Confidence identifying plants and advising on care and seasonal needs
- A positive, customer-focused attitude
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
