Marine Service Technician

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Marine Service Technician to join our state-of-the-art Service Centre in Te Rapa. You’ll service and support premium trailer-boat packages and help keep our customers’ adventures running perfectly.

• Service and maintain petrol and diesel outboard and sterndrive packages
• Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs (mechanical & electrical)
• Carry out sea trials and quality assurance checks
• Complete electronics fit-outs (navigation, comms, accessories)
• Document work accurately and communicate clearly with customers and teammates

• A genuine passion for the marine environment and on-water activities
• A customer-first mindset and pride in high-standard workmanship
• Strong time management, organisation, and attention to detail
• Effective communication with colleagues and team leaders; comfortable working independently or in a team
• Proactive, practical problem-solver; open to learning and receptive to feedback
• Comfortable with modern engine diagnostics and evolving marine technology
• Full NZ driver’s licence and NZ residency or valid work visa
