We are a fast-paced cabinetry manufacturing company seeking 2 x experienced CNC Programmers to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who not only excels in 5-axis and 3-axis CNC programming, but can also manage and coordinate workflow to CNC machine operators in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Program, set up, 3-axis CNC machines for cabinetry production , 5 axis CNC experience will be an advantage
- Plan, manage, and prioritise daily workflow to CNC machine operators
- Interpret technical drawings and production specifications accurately
- Liaise with design and production teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve processes
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety
- Demonstrated experience programming and operating 5-axis and 3-axis CNC machines
- Proven background in cabinetry, joinery, or wood-based manufacturing
- Experience managing workflow and directing machine operators
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Flexibility and willingness to work regular overtime as required
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Must hold an open work visa and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
- Current programs in use include Ryno, SolidWorks, and Alphacam
- Willingness to transition to alternative software for the right candidate
