About the role
We are urgently seeking three full time fixed term administrators, to work within the planned care team for six months to assist medical and surgical health specialties across our Campus - s with administrative tasks associated with validating our planned care Outpatient Waiting Lists.
As part of the Administration Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Role Profile/Band 4A

What You - ll Be Doing- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and whanau,
- Working in partnership with the health specialty that you have been assigned to, and contacting patients that we currently have on our waiting lists
- Completing reporting expectations on the data validation process
- Updating patient information using patient management systems (SI PICS)
- Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and responsiveness in all communications
About You
You - ll thrive in a busy and evolving environment where accuracy, empathy, and excellent communication are key. You are confident in using clinical systems and have a solid foundation in administrative work.
Essential Skills Experience- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Technically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and use new systems
- Strong time management, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A team player who contributes positively to workplace culture
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Understanding of medical terminology and clinical booking processes
- Experience with SI PICS or similar patient management systems
- Awareness of cultural diversity and the ability to engage effectively with people from a range of backgrounds
