The role is permanent and full-time (we guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week). Applicants must be available on weekends, public holidays and The rate of pay offered is between $27 up to $30 per hour, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.Applicants must hold a relevant barbering qualification (any level) or have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience cutting hair in a commercial environment.
The barber’s job duties are:- Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.
- Cutting and trimming hair (with scissors, clippers, and razors) according to clients' instructions.
- Shaving, trimming and using cut-throat razors on beards and moustaches.
- Providing advice to clients on the hair products stocked.
- Cleaning work areas and equipment between haircuts.
- Booking appointments for clients (over the phone and walk-ins).
- Taking payments from customers.
