This 44 bed longstanding aged care provider in the heart of the Wairarapa, is seeking a Clinical Services Manager (CSM) who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, and restoring confidence in aged care.

This is more than a management role - it's a chance to co-lead a positive turnaround, support a strong team of RNs and caregivers, and rebuild community and family trust. We are taking the time to find the right clinical leader to partner with the new Care Home Manager.

About the Role
  • Support and empower the nursing and clinical team to make confident, informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the CHM to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and resident outcomes are met.
  • Proactively engage with families and the local community - helping the organisation build warmth, openness, and trust.
  • Bring fresh ideas to life - from a simple "cheese and chat" evening with families to more structured service initiatives.
  • Full nursing team in place; you'll lead a stable team ready for guidance and consistent leadership.
  • Facility includes 15 rest home, 18 dementia, and 11 hospital-level beds (including swing beds). On-site village is managed separately.
What We're Looking For
  • A Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background and sound decision-making ability.
  • Proven leadership in aged care, ideally within a multi-level facility.
  • Someone who is confident, proactive, and not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
  • A genuine people-person who values communication, consistency, and compassion - especially with whanau.
  • Experience turning around underperforming services or leading during times of change is a bonus.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary - $105K+ negotiable, based on experience.
  • Monday to Friday - full-time permanent role (40 hours/week).
