Christchurch - Project Manager - Civil Construction

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee our Civil Construction projects which include residential and commercial subdivisions, commercial building projects and a variety of other projects within the Canterbury region. You will be required to have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects across these sectors of the construction industry.

In this role, you will be able to champion success, and lead projects to the best outcomes. From start to finish, you will be involved in projects that have different variables and challenges where you will need to plan and manage to achieve the best outcome for all parties involved in the project.

You will require good communication skills to ensure that everyone is well informed at every step of the way from business leaders to the teams on the ground and be able to manage multiple tasks and projects at once which will require you to prioritise and self-manage to deliver projects on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent industry experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Five plus years Project Management experience within the civil construction industry
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
• High personal standards and a positive attitude towards health and safety and the environment
