• About the Role: The Operational Policy and Regulatory Systems team is a shared service within the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Group (TWSD)
• the operational arm of MBIE.

We work with a range of teams within TWSD and across MBIE on a wide variety of interesting projects.

Alongside the Policy Capability function, this work will deliver professional development initiatives, and processes to measure and manage the quality of advice, and work to ensure that the performance of our regulatory systems is monitored.

They are responsible for partnering with the Director Operational Policy and Regulatory Systems to develop and drive the implementation of MBIE's regulatory capability development work programme.

• Skills and Experience Required If you meet all or most of the following criteria, we would love to hear from you: Knowledge and understanding of the development of policy advice and the design and delivery of regulation Experience in or an understanding of instructional design and leading the creation of effective capability building products A strong track record in designing and implementing capability programmes including the identification, development and delivery of capability building initiatives Strong leadership skills with the ability to adapt communication style and content, to meet the needs of different audiences.
