• Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Motorcycle Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of motorcycles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for our customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with, as well as mentoring and guiding less experienced staff. Although we’re a franchise dealership, service a wide range of motorcycle brands and models, from farm bikes to high-performance turbo charged sport bikes. We will provide training and qualifications that can take you around the world.
• Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake adjustments. Diagnose mechanical issues and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs. Repair and replace defective parts/components, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Test ride motorcycles to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities performed. Update and back-up service records to the “cloud”. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment. Stay updated on the latest motorcycle technology and industry trends.
• Requirements: Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician or similar role. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues. Strong knowledge of motorcycle systems, components, and engines. Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Valid motorcycle driver's license and clean driving record. Motorcycle maintenance and repair certifications are preferred.
