We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Operations Manager to join our team and lead our Emergency Medicine services at Health New Zealand Waitemata.About the RoleAs the Operations Manager for Emergency Medicine (EM), you will play a crucial role in managing medical staff in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
You will support service delivery across the Emergency Departments at North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals, working closely with Nurse Unit Managers and the Clinical Director. This role provides leadership for the Emergency Medicine Service, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency through people, quality and financial managementKey Responsibilities:Collaborative Leadership: Partner with the Clinical Director and Nurse Unit Managers to enhance the Emergency Medicine ServicePeople Management: Foster a supportive and collaborative environment for all staff, with a focus on working alongside the Clinical Director to grow and develop the medical workforce.Financial Management: Oversee financial planning and budgeting, identifying opportunities to optimise the use of resources and enhance service delivery.About YouYou have exceptional people management skills, with a proven track record in leading and developing teams.You possess strong financial acumen and experience in financial planning and budgeting.You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.You are committed to continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
