About the Role
We’re looking for a customer-focused, proactive team player to support our busy distribution office. In this office-based role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, helping drive service excellence and operational support across our Carbon, Stainless, and Aluminium divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls and emails professionally
- Process orders and quotes accurately
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Support the sales team with business development
- Build strong customer relationships, including occasional visits
- Assist with stock and inventory management
- Perform general admin and branch support tasks
- Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM – 5 PM (8-hour shifts)
- Internal sales experience (preferably in trade, distribution, or industrial setting)
- Customer service experience in a trade/industrial environment
- Full Class 1 driver licence
- Intermediate (or higher) computer skills (e.g., MS Office, ERP/CRM systems)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and work in a small team environment and assist where necessary
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise when things get busy
