We are looking for someone to join our team.
We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused operator to join our friendly and professional team on a regular two-day-per-week (currently Mondays and Fridays) contracting basis. We envisage additional requirements during peak periods. You'll be out on the road keeping our short term property portfolio clean and getting home at a decent hour.
What you'll be doing- Operating a refuse collection vehicle on assigned routes
- Completing pre-trip vehicle checks and daily run sheets
- Communicating professionally with operations staff
- Following all WH&S procedures and traffic management requirements
- Current NZ Class 2 (or higher) heavy vehicle licence — Class 4/5 preferred
- Experience driving heavy vehicles; waste industry experience an advantage
- Clean driving record
- Own GST-registered business or ability to invoice
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
