We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. This is a full- time position for skilled individual who is passionate about food, efficient in the kitchen, and able to manage daily operations to a high standard.
Position-Cook
Location - Rotorua, Bay of Plenty
Working Hours- 30 to 40 per week
Pay Rate - $30 to $35 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality check ingredients and prepared products to be used during service
- Follow recipes accurately
- Prepare food using various appliances and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe and sanitized work area
- Organize equipment, utensils and other tools prior to service
- Participate in the garnishing and presentation of dishes
- Oversee opening and closing duties for each assigned shi
- Clean and sanitise work areas
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience OR any NZQA Level 2 qualification
What We Offer:
- Full-time position minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed
- Wage: $30 ~ $35 per hour (with entitlements in line with NZ standards, including holiday pay, sick leave, and public holidays)
