Clinical Specialist - Level 3 Cardiac

  • Work shifts between 7am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday (as well as weekend and on call roster)
  • Located at all three sites of Te Toka Tumai MRI Service

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Join Te Toka Tumai Auckland and be part of our growing Radiology Department, providing Radiological services to our patients from all three sites: Adult Radiology at Auckland City Hospital, Paediatric Radiology at Starship Hospital and our Outpatient Clinic at Greenlane Clinical Centre.

Te Toka Tumai's Radiology Department houses 4 state of the art MRI scanners:

A 1.5T Siemens Sola scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for cardiac imaging and a mix of in and out-patient work.
A 3T Siemens Vida scanner located at Auckland City Hospital, this caters for mostly acute and in-patient work.
A 3T Siemens Skyra scanner located at Greenlane Clinical Centre for out-patient examinations.

A 3T Siemens Skyra located at Starship Children's Hospital, this is a mix of in and out-patient paediatrics and some adult work.

You will be responsible for scanning of paediatric and adult patients across all Te Toka Tumai sites working shifts between 7 am to 8.30 pm, Monday to Sunday. Participation on the weekend and on-call roster outside of these hours will be required.

You must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and have a current Annual Practicing Certificate to be considered. For more details visit: mrtboard.org.nz
As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in MRI

MRI cardiac experience would be highly desirable
