Scope Group Ltd is a privately owned, South Island based company who specialise in Asbestos removal, demolition and civil works. We have offices in Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown.

Our Queenstown operation has grown from strength to strength and prides itself on the successful management and delivery of projects across Queenstown Lakes, Central Otago and Southland. We are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to help ensure we continue this growth and quality delivery within the region.

What you will do

As Regional Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the region. Some of the key functions of the role include:

• Leading the delivery of a variety of projects safely, to time and budget
• Management of contractual administration across all projects including tendering/pricing, delivery and payment claims
• Generation of sales opportunities through new client relationships and enhancement of ongoing client relationships
• Continued growth and development of the business
• Driving safety culture policies and initiatives within the team

• Formal qualification in a relevant field such as Business or Project Management, Construction or Asbestos removal
• Proven experience in Regional or Project Management within either asbestos removal or the demolition/construction industry
• Proven experience in new business procurement and sales including the ability to professionally articulate service solutions to potential clients
• Ability to effectively manage all communications with clients
• Ability to actively problem solve and adapt when faced with challenges and/or unexpected components to a project
• Energetic and driven to achieve a high standard of customer service across all aspects of project delivery
• Ability to understand and develop construction and contracting documentation
• Practical knowledge and experience with Project Management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Organised and methodical in your approach to work and the completion of tasks
• Confident in leading and managing a team
• Ability to work collaboratively across our other office locations and teams to ensure successful performance and delivery across the Group.

Previous knowledge and understanding of Class A & B Asbestos removal would be preferred. However, we are looking for someone who is the right fit for our business and that has a willingness and capability to learn and understand Asbestos Removal methodology and processes.

You will require a current driver’s licence and be able to travel, as required, throughout the South Island.
