Preparing, cooking and serving healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for up to 50 people daily. There are also kitchen hand duties involved in this role.
A menu is set on a 4 weekly rotation which includes a 2 course hot meal at mid day and the pre preparation of the tea meal.
All our meals, desserts and baking is prepared on site.
This position is for 4 or 5 shifts each week and there is the additional opportunity to cover for sick and annual leave. Days can include or exclude weekend days.
Food handling certificate would be an advantage but can be arranged.
Previous rest home cooking experience or similar is required.
