Part-time Caregiver - Christchurch

I am a 62-year-old male tetraplegic living in my own home in Strowan, with a flatmate, and I am looking for a reliable part-time carer to help me with my morning routine for at least three hours every second Saturday and Sunday mornings and be available for one hour on the Sunday night to help me into bed.
This position is open to anyone with different levels of experience and background who can bring a positive outlook, a good nature, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to support me in my own home.The range of tasks are mostly in personal care including transferring, showering, bathroom assistance, getting dressed and grooming, meal preparation and helping me with my exercise regime. The successful applicant does not necessarily need experience but needs a good level of common sense and initiative, good communication and be prepared to do odd jobs around the house while I am exercising.

- New Zealand residency or valid New Zealand openwork visa
- Fluent in English
- A clear background and criminal check
- Training will be provided for the right applicant
