Line Mechanic/Electrician - Hamilton

Due to exciting projected growth, they are expanding their Civil/Projects Team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Line Mechanic/Electrician to join the team.This isn’t your average job. Based in Hamilton, with projects spanning Bay of Plenty and Auckland, no two days are the same. If you enjoy variety, challenges, and working on meaningful projects, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Network project work and plant maintenance
- Installation of advanced warning and traffic signal systems
- Sports-field lighting and control systems
- Streetlight fault finding, repairs, testing, and inspections
- Installation of new subdivision street lighting and associated equipment
- General maintenance of new and existing network infrastructure
- Registered Line Mechanic and/or Electrician with EWRB Practising License
- Minimum 2 years’ electrical experience
- Full Class 1 Driver’s License (Class 2 training provided)
- Willingness to work away from home and be part of an after-hours faults roster
- Ability to pass police vetting and drug testing (pre-employment & random)
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, SMEI, and industry best practices
- Physically fit and confident working at heights
- Self-motivated with great communication and time management skills
- HIAB and EWP experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
