About the role:

As a Driver Assistant, you are to assist with loading, unloading, delivering and picking up customer's product with a Driver in a safe way and ensuring the quality and security of the products, and the completion of required scanning and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out your work as outlined in the company training modules, operations manual, policies, rules, standards and procedures
  • Working in a helpful, friendly and polite manner, when dealing with customers and others.
  • Wearing the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance so you represent Fliway professionally
  • Assisting the driver in all pickups and deliveries.
  • Assisting the driver in all driving and parking situations to ensure that company safety measures are followed.
  • Performing all functions in a safe manner.
  • Completing all run paperwork correctly and on time

What you Bring:

  • Hardworking, honest, and reliable
  • Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
  • Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
  • Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
  • Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
  • Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
  • Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 1 - Full license required (Class 2 Idea)
