About the role:
As a Driver Assistant, you are to assist with loading, unloading, delivering and picking up customer's product with a Driver in a safe way and ensuring the quality and security of the products, and the completion of required scanning and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out your work as outlined in the company training modules, operations manual, policies, rules, standards and procedures
- Working in a helpful, friendly and polite manner, when dealing with customers and others.
- Wearing the correct uniform and PPE that is supplied for the tasks you are doing, and to take care of them and your appearance so you represent Fliway professionally
- Assisting the driver in all pickups and deliveries.
- Assisting the driver in all driving and parking situations to ensure that company safety measures are followed.
- Performing all functions in a safe manner.
- Completing all run paperwork correctly and on time

What you Bring:
- Hardworking, honest, and reliable
- Fit for work - lifting, pushing, pulling, movement of freight by hand and trolley is required.
- Flexible in your approach - a typical day may include loading freight, driving, processing freight deliveries, doing the paperwork and providing great customer services.
- Able to manage your workload and meet deadlines.
- Organised in processing your documentation and keeping your paperwork in order.
- Good team player, with initiative and ability to perform quality work in a safe manner.
- Hold a clean HT licence, minimum Class 1 - Full license required (Class 2 Idea)
