Refrigeration/ Catering Engineer

• Assist other team members using your experience and expertise. Assist office personnel with technical information relevant to commercial appliances.
• In the Field emergency repair involving electrical fault finding and rectification. Must have the experience and ability to identify problems before they become breakdowns during planned maintenance visits.
• Hourly wage rate between $30 and $40 based on experience.
• Minimum regular work hours of 40 - Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm (excluding on call rotation). Call outs, evenings and weekends are on a 4 weekly rostered basis – liaising as required

• Proven experience as a Qualified Refrigeration Technician or Electrical Service Technician. (6+ Yrs experience)
• Please note these qualifications or a letter from the EWRB advising acceptance of a limited license is a minimum requirement.
• Experience managing customers contracts and projects preferable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Current NZ driver licence is required as travel between customer's sites will be necessary.
• Must be eligible to work in NZ or hold a current work visa.
