Mō te tūnga | About the roleBe part of a supportive team who are fully committed to providing a high level of support to our Caregivers through every aspect of their care journey, from enquiry and assessment, to training and preparation, and on-going support.
This is a busy and varied role suited to an experienced and professional Administrator. Working under the supervision and guidance of a supervisor, you will be responsible for a broad range of administrative work in the Caregiver Recruitment and Support team.
This may include communicating information to Caregivers, scheduling Caregiver hui and trainings, assisting Caregiver Social Workers to obtain information to inform assessments and reviews, collating data and maintaining reports, and keeping updated records on our information systems database.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bringKey requirements of the role include: Proven experience in office administration and customer service. A high level of competence in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and able to type more than 40 wpm.
Strong relationship building skills and experience dealing with members of the public. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Effective organisation, planning and time management skills. A full, clean, valid New Zealand driver's licence.
New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency at time of application is required. Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture If you enjoy dealing with people, providing excellent customer service, and positively managing internal and external business relationships with ease, then we want to hear from you.

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $57,096.00 and $62,773.00 dependent on experience, with tenure-based progression steps available above this range.
