Senior Administrator - Retail Services

About the Role
As our Senior Administrator – Retail Services, you will play a central part in delivering high-quality financial and administrative support to the retail service team at Seeka.
You'll ensure timely and accurate financial processing, support month-end tasks, manage key reconciliations, and provide reporting and insights that help our teams make informed decisions.
You will also supervise and allocate work to one direct report — our Retail Services Administrator — supporting their workflow and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities- Manage and assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing for retail services.
- Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations each month (Bank, Debtors, Creditors, Accruals & Suspense).
- Support month-end processing for the retail services team, including posting manual journals.
- Prepare and reconcile payment files
- Oversee weekly cashflow management, particularly AUD and USD bank accounts.
- Carry out FX processing, including settling hedged deals and initiating spot transactions.
- Support and contribute to improvement initiatives within retail services and the wider finance transactional processing Team.
- Assist with finance team queries and general administrative support as required.
- Work completed accurately, following best-practice accounting and administrative procedures.
- Strong prioritisation and adherence to deadlines.
- High-quality outputs that provide confidence to operational and finance stakeholders.
- 3+ years' accounting or financial administration experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
- Experience using accounting/ERP systems
- Relevant qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Strong numeracy and ability to interpret financial information.
- Experience producing clear, accurate reports.
- Industry experience in kiwifruit, horticulture, or the primary sector is an advantage.
- Proven ability to improve processes or contribute to policy improvements.
- Clear, confident communicator across all levels of the business.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work autonomously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to respond to changing priorities.
- A collaborative team player with excellent time management.
