Wakari HospitalAs and when requiredSalary band - $39.15 - $51.16 per hourHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the roleThe District Nursing Service provides comprehensive nursing care to the greater Dunedin area including Palmerston and Middlemarch.This includes:specialist wound care (including ACC)intravenous medications administrationpalliative carecatheter management and much more.The service is closely linked to Dunedin Hospital to help ensure patients are supported safely in the community after hospital discharge, while also maintaining close liaison with local GP practices, hospice and residential facilities.This is an opportunity for you to adapt and increase your clinical skills to become a 'specialist generalist'.
You will be out and about working in different places, and each hour is varied from the next.
